The next morning, as Masato and I were enjoying a delicious breakfast at "The Garden Café," a dining space in the hotel, participants of the "Peace of Mind Workshop" came to greet us one after another. They knew from Masato's confession the day before that we were newlyweds who had never had sex before, but since they were not bound by "common sense," they did not look at us strangely at all. On the contrary, they welcomed us as new friends. As the co-founder of "Nu-Era Pics," known as "Yukiko the Successful One" or "Tsuji-Giri OYUKI," I never wore the same shirt two days in a row, but on this, the second day of the workshop, I was wearing the same pink oxford button-down shirt as the day before. Masato was also wearing the same blue oxford button-down shirt as the day before. So everyone would have believed that we were a very close couple. Of course, since we had met less than a month before, it was impossible for me to say whether we were a good couple or not. But since it was an "All-you-can-eat" style breakfast, we were lined up in our "matching outfits" attire at the time, and we were sharing the various foods on the large plates onto our own small plates. So, to anyone's eyes, we must have looked like "a sweet couple" with a strong spiritual connection, even if we were not physically connected.
Among the participants of the "Peace of Mind Workshop," Eriko approached me with a slightly different atmosphere. I went to the bathroom after breakfast, and when I came out of the bathroom, I met Eriko and she approached me. She asked me with sincerity and moderation something that was difficult to hear.
Please do not be offended if the insight about your husband that came to me is right or wrong. It seems to me that your dear Masato has cancer that has spread to many organs, starting from the esophagus. Masato's Auric Field is quite unbalanced.
Oh dear, what a surprise, someone other than me has emerged who can spot him as having cancer. The Auric Field is the magnetic field of invisible electromagnetic waves surrounding an object. It is composed of energy and has color, but it is only visible to those who have clairvoyant or psychic vision. In other words, Eriko noticed the cancer just by looking at him, unlike me who discovered the cancer by touching Masato. I told Eriko about my experience at the "TAO Shiatsu/Acupressure" workshop at The New York Buddhist Church. Eriko told me she had a great prayer book to give away. I followed her to her room.
Eriko pulled out of her bag and gave us two copies of a book titled "The Gift of Life Prayers" written by Howard Wills, a mattress company owner in Kauai, Hawaii.
The books were exactly the same size and very thin as the Japanese translation of James F. Twyman's book "Thomas Messages-The Psychic Children Speaks to the World-," and in fact, the translator was Hiroshi Ohuchi, and the publisher was Natural Spirit. People who gathered around Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet, including Eriko, had the custom of giving away copies of "The Gift of Life Prayers". It is a thin and inexpensive book, so everyone can carry many copies. Later, I gave it as a gift myself to a number of friends.
"The Gift of Life Prayers" contains nine different prayers that Howard Wills received from some Being of Light in 1974. However, a closer reading suggests that the Being of Light was Jesus Christ.
Now, the nine prayers are as follows:
- The Gift of Life Prayer 1: Forgiveness Affirmation
- The Gift of Life Prayer 2: Prayer of Personal Forgiveness
- The Gift of Life Prayer 3: Prayer of Complete Personal Forgiveness
- The Gift of Life Prayer 4: Prayer of Generational Forgiveness
- The Gift of Life Prayer 5: Prayer for All Nations, All Races, All Humanity, The Earth & All Life
- The Gift of Life Prayer 6: Prayer of Complete Healing for All Relationships
- The Gift of Life Prayer 7: Prayer of Complete Personal Healing
- The Gift of Life Prayer 8: Prayer of Thanks
- Ancestral Prayer
As a matter of fact, Howard Wills has made these prayers available on his own website, so anyone can get them now, if they don't mind the English version. That is why the only version available as a book is the Japanese translation. As such, the practice of giving "The Gift of Life Prayers" as gifts is unique to us Japanese. 2011 saw the publication of an expanded and revised edition, with the addition of "The Gift of Life Prayer 9: Prayer of Bounty". And if you check the Howard Wills website, you will see that the number is still growing, but since Mr. Ohuchi has passed away, the number of Japanese translations has not increased from 10.
Let's get back to the topic.
Eriko explained each prayer in "The Gift of Life Prayers" to me as follows:
There is a word in Sanskrit called "Karma. It refers to the "act" itself or the "destiny" that accumulates as a result of the "act". An act at some point in a person's own soul's history of incarnation, or the act of someone at some point in the history of a bloodline, is the cause of the individual's problems and suffering. It is the inheritance of these acts as a genetic code that makes the suffering inescapable. But the code of "Karma" can be broken. We can break the "Karma" code by asking God for "Forgiveness" and "Salvation", and by accepting God's Blessings that are constantly pouring down upon us. Then "Karma" can be dissolved.
I was delighted to receive her gift. Furthermore, Eriko gave me two pieces of information that made me happy. First. There is a passage in "The Gift of Life Prayers" that describes the healing experience of a middle and high school classmate of Howard Wills, Roger, who was diagnosed at age 20 with terminal cancer that was untreatable, and what Roger did besides praying will surely give us It will give us a clue, said Eriko. And secondly, Eriko gave me a booklet about the Castor Oil Pack, a therapy popularized by Edgar Cayce.
I left her room with Eriko. Masato was just passing by. I called him over and told him that Eriko had noticed his cancer the day before. Masato was not surprised at all about Eriko's psychic ability, since I had already discovered his cancer. Eriko was relieved to see Masato calmly accepting her psychic abilities, so she made him one suggestion. I want to tell Hiroshi and Janet that you are suffering from terminal cancer. Then pray aloud "The Gift of Life Prayer" with all participants. The more people who believe in your radical cure, the easier it will come true. Masato agreed. During his stay at "Hotel Mt. Fuji", Masato's heart was open and honest. He did not look like someone who had tried to commit suicide just the other day. He really seemed to trust Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet very much.
After hearing about Masato's cancer from Eriko, Hiroshi Ohuchi said one of his familiar expressions:
This is also Forgiveness.
We have really heard this word from him many times. This is also Forgiveness. I usually mutter this word often. This is also Forgiveness. I encourage you to use it in your anger management. Breathe out loudly and slowly, and mutter the words, "This is also Forgiveness."
At 9:30, when all the participants had gathered in the banquet hall "Minuet", the second day of the "Peace of Mind Workshop" began. Hiroshi Ohuchi then asked the participants to pray for Masato.
Please join us in prayer for Mr. Shiraishi, for Yukiko, and for yourselves. Let us trust that this is for the best, pray and ask for help. We have been given the Holy Spirit to forgive what is unforgivable in ourselves. Christ is in ourselves. So please pray for each other. I trust that a miracle will come to Mr. Shiraishi, and I declare that I pray "The Gift of Life Prayers" again today and every day.
I was already crying just with these words from Mr. Ohuchi. And in fact, Mr. Ohuchi and his wife, Janet, would pray for Masato every day from that day onward. I believe that Eriko and some of the others who prayed with us at that time prayed for us every day. This is how we all began to read "The Gift of Life Prayer I Forgiveness Affirmation" and I just cried and could not pray well at all.

I Love, Bless, And Respect, The Visible, And The Invisible
I Rejoice And Give Thanks For My New Life, Power, And Health,
And Give Complete Blessings And Love To All Life And All Creation Always
I could not vocalize at all beautifully. All the participants had brought their own copy of "The Gift of Life Prayers," so everyone took out their own copy and prayed aloud. Eriko, of course, also took out "The Gift of Life Prayers" and prayed aloud. She had given us two books, and she still had one more! No, maybe she had brought more. They all uttered the words in a loud and clear voice, including Eriko. I cried more because I felt how they used "The Gift of Life Prayers" on a regular basis. Until the very end, at last, my voice was not uttered as a voice. Masato was crying, of course, because they were all praying for him, but he was praying with a firm voice. I sensed that he was beginning to be more positive about life. This again resulted in much weeping for me. In the end, by the end of the ninth prayer, "Ancestral Prayer," I was unable to pray properly out loud. As I was sobbing, Janet smiled benevolently and asked me if I knew the song "All Night, All Day (Angels Watching Over Me)".
Then Janet got up and started singing "All Night, All Day (Angels Watching Over Me)". She sang with great joy, swaying her body from side to side and flapping her hands in a small gesture to represent a little angel flapping her wings. She had become Joy itself, which made me even more Joyful, infected with Joy. It was as if the Yukkin of my childhood had returned to my heart.
When I was in elementary school, I used to watch to NHK educational TV in the morning during summer vacation. I would watch "Hataraku Ojisan (Working Men)" and "Ichi Ni no Sansu (1,2,3 in Arithmetic)" and "Sesame Street". Watching "Sesame Street" made me want to learn English, so my parents sent me to "Berlitz" in Akasaka, Tokyo. In English classes for children, everyone is forced to learn English songs with simple lyrics. Everyone is taught "You Are My Sunshine" or "Take Me Home, Country Roads". For movie or musical theme songs, we are taught "Singin' in the Rain," "Do-Re-Mi" from "The Sound of Music," or "Chim Chim Cher-ee" from "Mary Poppins". We were also taught "Yesterday" by The Beatles and "Yesterday Once More" by Carpenters. Exceptionally, we were also taught the song "Monkey Magic" by the Japanese Progressive Rock Band GODIEGO! It was the theme song for the Japanese TV dramatization of the Chinese classic "Journey to the West" featuring Son Gokū, a monkey born of stone, and all the lyrics are in English. And, of course, we were taught "All Night, All Day (Angels Watching Over Me)". So I happily got up and sang "All Night, All Day (Angels Watching Over Me)" with Janet. Those who could sing sang along, and even if they couldn't sing, they swayed their bodies from side to side in time to the song just like Janet. And Masato? He stood up and sang too! Yeah!

When Janet finished singing, she offered the following advice to all participants.
Ask the angels for anything. Let's ask the angels.
Janet Nordyke Ohuchi cannot read or write Japanese, but she is actually very skilled at speaking it. That is no surprise. Like her husband, she is also a teacher who teaches English conversation to Japanese people. It is for this reason that she gave us the following advice in Japanese at this time, to be exact.
Donna-koto demo Tenshi-San ni Onegai shima-sho.
Tenshi-San ni Onegai shima-sho.
"Tenshi-San" means something like "Mr. Angel" or "Miss Angel". Let's ignore for now that an angel may marry and become "Mrs. Angel" LOL. "Tenshi" is "Angel". "San" is therefore "Mr." or "Miss". However, when Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet say "Tenshi-San," their intention is to regard the angel as a closer friend. This is because in Japanese there is a higher honorific title than "San" called "Sama". Therefore, their use of "San" is quite different in nuance from the English "Mr." or "Miss". They referred to the Archangel Michael as "Michael-San," Jesus Christ as "Jesus-San," and our inner guide, Higher-Self, as "Higher-Self San," in a friendly way as a friend.
I had never before sung along with an organizer or facilitator in a workshop on spiritual knowledge and wisdom. Since Angie Kendall invited me to attend a workshop with her friend Melissa "Missy" Blanchard in Albuquerque, I have attended numerous workshops on the "Law of Attraction". Most of the participants in those workshops were dreaming of success in their businesses and making millions of dollars. I am grateful for all that I have. I am a divine magnet that attracts wealth, prosperity, and success. I am very happy and grateful. Now, as more and more money comes to me, it comes to me through multiple sources. It is wonderful! These are some of the masterpieces of affirmations that are written around Neville Goddard's book. They are encouraged to repeat these affirmations and are told to visualize the desired reality for 5 minutes before bed. Feel the weight of a stack of bills, smell and feel the smell of a stack of bills! Imagine yourself relaxing at a resort, sipping a cocktail. Feel the sunlight. Rewrite your subconscious! Perhaps some of them will return home and work on those tasks, and some of them will end up living in the Beverly Hills area. It's really exciting! Affirmations are important. I do them every morning. I am Divine Will and Power. I am Divine Love. I am Divine Wisdom.
However, many of the participants in the "Peace of Mind Workshop" were people who seemed to want to dedicate their lives to the service of the earth and humanity. They are good people who seem to want to dissolve the limiting belief systems of our human race, to end the social structure of "dominate someone and be dominated by someone else," and to restore the Earth as a harmonious, Loving, and Light planet.
But that is dangerous in a way.
Such people often give so much that they leave themselves nothing to give. That is why Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet showed themselves singing and dancing in their workshops to teach that the best way to serve the earth and humanity is to enjoy one's own life to the fullest with a heart as innocent as a child's.
For example we are advised to make a "Manifestation Box". We were taught that after lunch that day. It is a box in which we write our requests to the angels and put them in. They also teach us the prayers to say when we put them in the box. This is the method of reality creation as described in the writings of Ronna Herman. So I can explain that it is a gift from Archangel Michael. If you read the section where the technique is described, it recommends putting gold colored paper on the entire surface of the box. But the important thing is to create a box that feels good to the person who will create and possess it. Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet brought their rather large "Manifestation Box" to the workshop as a reference example, and not only was it covered in gold-colored paper, but it was also covered in tassels of various light colors, all the way around and tightly packed. They must have really made the "Manifestation Box" as they did in their elementary school "Drawing and crafts" class, having fun and enjoying their assignments! They first filled themselves with Love.
When I returned to the United States, I rarely attended workshops that shared spiritual knowledge and wisdom anymore. Masato and I would study "A Course In Miracles" from that day onward, so we often attended "A Course In Miracles" study groups, but I never again attended a workshop with the theme of learning the "Law of Attraction" and becoming a great success. I often found myself longing to sing with Janet after I returned to the United States. And, in fact, I revisited Lake Yamanakako several times. However, I did not revisit Lake Yamanakako to acquire new knowledge and learn the latest techniques for realizing my ideal reality. My only purpose was to see our friends Hiroshi and Janet again, to sing with them, and to have a lot of fun.
At each "Peace of Mind Workshop," we were first given a piece of colored paper cut in the shape of a diamond. It is intended to be worn around the neck as a name tag, so there is a looped string attached to it. During the two-day workshop, the rule of the game was to write "my name as I want other participants to call me" on the diamond-shaped piece of paper with a colored magic marker. During my first two days at the "Peace of Mind Workshop", my husband wrote "Masato Shiraishi" and I wrote "Yukiko Shimada" on the diamond-shaped paper. But from the next "Peace of Mind Workshop," I wrote "Yukkin," as I was called as a child. The only person who called me "Yukkin" as an adult was, at best, Angie Kendall. At the "Peace of Mind Workshop" in Lake Yamanakako, it is always easy for me to go back to being a child. But in everyday life, it was not so easy. But as I attended more and more "Peace of Mind Workshop," I gradually began to maintain my childlike innocence in my daily life. And as I did so, interestingly, more and more people started calling me "Yukkin".
As a side note, when I was a little girl, I used to sing the English songs I had been taught to my maternal grandfather when I went to his house to show him off. My grandfather, Tatsuo Tsukida, loved country music and was delighted when I would sing "Take Me Home, Country Roads".
My grandfather's record collection was old, so he did not have the 1971 hit "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver. He went to buy it and I went along. And he said he would buy me a record of my choice, too. I looked around. There were Carole King's "Tapestry" and Laura Nyro's "Eli and the Thirteenth Confession" on the wall. I was so taken by their jackets that I asked my grandfather to buy them for me. Carole King and Laura Nyro both looked like ridiculously good-looking women. Thankfully, singer-songwriters like Carole King and Laura Nyro sing with great care and respect for the lyrics, so they were a great resource for learning English listening. After that, I asked my grandfather several times to buy me records of Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt, Rickie Lee Jones, Karla Bonoff, Joni Mitchell, and other music that was too mature for elementary school children to listen to. Of course, some of the songs had lyrics that were quite dangerous for children! Olivia Newton-John, on the other hand, was wholesome! Her "Have You Never Been Mellow" was my favorite and I sang it often!
Such was my taste in music before I started listening to Madonna.
On February 14, 2013, I was traveling on "Interstate 684". At that time, I was frequently asked to do a lecture, due to my achievements as a co-founder of "Nu-Era Pics" combined with my position as a teacher of "A Course In Miracles". I was also conducting small "A Course In Miracles" workshops and prayer gatherings at home, but when my beautiful best friend Angie Kendall asked me to do a lecture, I just had to do it. So I was driving down "Interstate 684" on my way home from the lecture, listening to music on my car radio. The radio DJ introduced the following song, a live version of "You've Got a Friend" by Carole King and James Taylor. "You've Got a Friend" was written by Carole King and appeared on her album "Tapestry," and James Taylor also included it on "Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon". Since both albums released in 1971 were produced in collaboration with each other, "You've Got a Friend" was recorded by each of them and each version was included on their respective albums. James Taylor's side then cut "You've Got a Friend" as a single and made it a big hit. It's a famous story, isn't it?
I heard "You've Got a Friend" come on the radio and I cried so hard at the wheel. It's a great song, for sure, and I love it, but I never cried while listening to "You've Got a Friend" on "Tapestry". "You've Got a Friend" on "Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon" is also a great recording, but I never cried listening to it. However, the version of their live duet that was on the air at the time made me cry hard.
Hiroshi has passed away....
I knew by intuition. Our benefactor, mentor, and friend, Hiroshi Ohuchi, passed away after a long battle with illness. He is now making me listen to Carole King and James Taylor's "You've Got a Friend" so that I will not be overcome with grief. We are not going to be apart forever.
That's what he is trying to tell us.
Is your question about what illness Mr. Ohuchi died of?
I have not received permission from the Ohuchi family to talk about that. No, it is not that Janet does not give me permission; it is that I have never tried to get permission from her. I imagine Janet would forgive me if I told you, but I think it would be wise not to tell you the name of the disease. Please forgive me.
But I would like to explain to you that it has been a long struggle.
I mean, I had no idea that he was in the midst of his battle, as we joyfully meditated, prayed, and sang together during the "Peace of Mind Workshop". I do not know if Eriko knew about Mr. Ohuchi's illness. It is certainly possible that she was aware of his illness through her psychic and clairvoyant abilities. Indeed, every time I attended the "Peace of Mind Workshop", when the 3:00 p. m. end time came, Hiroshi Ohuchi and I would hug each other, praying for the coming of the reunion. But nothing like the discovery of Masato's cancer when I pushed him during the preparatory exercise for the "TAO Shiatsu/Acupressure" workshop ever happened between me and Mr. Ohuchi. Insights come by the Will of the Universe, so only those who are entrusted to receive an Insight receive it. On this day, Eriko had to play the role of our guardian angel. That was the Will of the Universe. That is why she noticed Masato's cancer. I am sure that even today Eriko is probably more psychic than I am, but that does not mean that she can know everything about everything in the Universe. Nor does it have to.
I am glad in two ways that I did not know that Mr. Ohuchi had been fighting a disease. First, I was able to truly enjoy the "Peace of Mind Workshop" without having to worry about someone else's physical ailment. And the other, and this one is more important, namely, that he became our foremost exemplary teacher that we later learned about because we had no idea that he was living a life of Love and Forgiveness, which is never easy to do. Hiroshi Ohuchi we were witnessing as the incarnation of Happiness was actually suffering the same or even more than we were but accepting it and living it to the fullest. He tried to be "Forgiveness" itself. So, he rather became our real teacher after his death.
I would never suggest that he never had a day of anxiety at all. He probably kept telling himself. This is the best. This is perfect. This is also Forgiveness. The way he lived and the way he died makes me accept his "This is also Forgiveness" as words of true wisdom. Everyone will pass away. We have prayed according to "A Course In Miracles" or according to "The Gift of Life Prayers", but the disease has not healed, and the loved one has passed away. It happens all the time. There is no such thing as a "Miracle." These books are full of lies! No, they are not. Only Love is eternal and infinite. Hiroshi Ohuchi taught us with his own death that Love is eternally abiding in us and that nothing can separate us from it. Every day, all over the world, "death" is experienced, and we should try to forgive it. It is okay to cry. We have the ability to cry, so by all means, cry. If you do, your loved ones will surely deliver the following message to you. This is also Forgiveness.
Oh, no, no, you asked a very good question. You have given me the opportunity to tell you what I want to tell you. Because I am telling you my story to tell you that only Love is real. Thank you very much.
Now, let's get back to the topic.
When I got home, I found an e-mail from Masato. He had left New York and returned to Japan at that time. Masato Shiraishi, an Alchemy Crystal Bowls performer who had become a bit known in the New Age/Ambient music world, was performing in Japan while participating in volunteer activities for the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred at 14:46 on March 11, 2011.
Today is February 14; Mr. Ohuchi has passed away. Our benefactor, mentor, and friend, Hiroshi, passed away.
His e-mail to me said just that….
Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet love music. Their daughter, Kaori Kiana Ohuchi, who in recent years has gone by the name Kiana Luna, is a musician. She released an album called "Full Circle" in 2004, which was a duet album with Kiana singing over her mother Janet's recording of her singing at age 23. We can't take music away from the Ohuchi family. And we can't take music away from my husband. That is why we bought "Full Circle" on this day and have been listening to it for a long time.
Since this was Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet's "Peace of Mind Workshop," if a participant brought an instrument, they would easily change their plans and let them play. As I recall, for example, some played the Celtic Harp. On this day, someone brought an Alchemy Crystal Bowls, which was still rare in Japan. Alchemy Crystal Bowls are, simply put, percussion instruments made of powdered crystal and re-hardened. Hiroshi and Janet naturally made time to play the Alchemy Crystal Bowls. Masato watched the performance with great interest. It was to change his destiny very soon.
At 3:00 p. m., the "Peace of Mind Workshop" came to an end. The end of the "Peace of Mind Workshop" was always the same. Everyone joins hands in a big circle and sings "Today is the Day for Goodbye - Kyo no Hi wa Sayonara - ". Ryoko Moriyama, once known as "Japan's Joan Baez," recorded the song in 1967, and it became very famous and is often sung at graduation ceremonies at Japanese schools. The lyrics and music were not written by her, but by a man named Shoichi Kaneko.

Masato and I sang this song while crying. After all, I had cried all day. As I was crying, Eriko and the other workshop participants came to me one after another, hugging me and giving me words of support. Everyone made sure not to touch Masato, who had confessed the day before that he was afraid of being touched. Instead, everyone said to him that they were praying for him to be cured of his cancer. Of course, Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet also gave us words of energy.
Mr. Ohuchi said, "This is also Forgiveness".
Janet said, "Ask the angels for anything. Let's ask the angels".
Hiroshi Ohuchi and Janet returned to their home in a car with the license plate number 8888. And all the participants of the "Peace of Mind Workshop" returned by bus or other means. We, however, were to stay until the next day. But we had not decided what to do after tomorrow. When we returned to our room, Masato said he wanted to go back to the US. Since "A Course In Miracles" is a big bestseller in the field of "Spirituality" in the U. S., it was expected that there would be many "A Course In Miracles" teachers. He decided to buy the English original of "A Course In Miracles" and read it and "The Gift of Life Prayers" while he battled his terminal esophageal cancer. We decided to leave the "Hotel Mt. Fuji" the next day.
However, instead of going back to Tokyo and flying from there, we decided to go to Kyoto first to see his stepmother and then to "Kansai International Airport" in Osaka. Since there are no direct flights from "Kansai International Airport" to New York, we decided to fly back to Tokyo instead of taking the Shinkansen/bullet train and transfer to "Narita International Airport" for our flight to New York.
I have told you many things today. I hope you are not too tired. Thank you for listening. See you soon.
