Between the Rushes!

I love when I’m busy, the hustle and bustle of customers and the energy, noise and vibration.

But, I gotta tell you, I learn the most about myself in between those rushes.

There is this smooth feeling with just a few people coming in, taking their time and enjoying a meal. We have music on all day, but you can only really hear it when we’re not busy.

There’s the dude likes to come at those times, always sits in the same stool at the counter. Sometimes, I can sense this is a time he can be at ease. I can feel his mind slow.

If you didn’t know it already, I’m a special spot, there’s a vibe here. It’s open, comfortable, attuned.

It’s that way when we’re busy, but it really runs through me when we’re not.

Seems too, the people that come in lull times are here for that feeling. They need some peace, a chance to stop thinking, a time to breathe, a spot out of the rat race.

I’m proud that those celestial vibes run through me. Must run through Fiona and Trent too. I remember ‘em from the first owner, but not until these two bought me and gave me this cool look, did those vibes comeback.

It may be in the plot of dirt under me, but it has to be accessed to bring them inside.

I wonder if people are like that. Have something in them they could access, but maybe they don't. Hope so, it feels really cool to be connected to positive vibrations.
